Join the Etape Loch Ness Strava club!
A great way to keep in touch with other riders training for Loch Ness. We’ll be sharing lots of training tips to help you on your Etape journey and would love to hear how your training is going too.
Training Plans
Slow and steady wins the training race. The Etape Loch Ness route is designed for people who lead an active lifestyle, and is achievable as long as you’re prepared to train. Build up mileage gradually to avoid injury and over-exercising, also to create a good base fitness on which to build the stamina levels you’ll need. Before starting out it’s a good idea to see your doctor for a medical or health assessment, particularly if you smoke, are overweight or there’s a history of heart disease in your family.
Former international road cyclist and British Cycling Level 2 coach, Kenny Riddle will be sharing his knowledge as you gear up for the Etape Loch Ness.
