Entry & Registration

Register your interest for the 2027 event (25 April) on Let's Do This and we’ll notify you when priority entry opens.

No, entries are not available over the event weekend.

No. Entries are non-deferrable, non-transferable and non-refundable. See Terms & Conditions for details.

No. Never swap bib numbers, this may lead to disqualification and safety issues.

Use the ‘manage your entry’ link in your confirmation email or log into Let’s Do This. The deadline for amends is 28 March 2027.

 

Yes on Saturday 24 April, 10:00–19:00 at the Event Hub (bring photo ID). If you can’t attend, someone can collect for you with their ID and your signed permission. There is no collection on event morning.

Event Details

Finisher’s medal (optional), event giveaway, chip-timed results (incl. KOM/QOM), certificate, and on-course support.

17+ on event day.

Start: Bught Park (0.6 miles from Event Hub)

Finish: Bishops Road, Inverness.

 

 

Riders are allocated waves (A–D) based on estimated finish time. See your Event Guide and start video.

No, the timing is chip-based from Start Line to Finish Line.

Group Entries

Yes, enter the same Team Name and estimated finish time (based on the slowest rider).

Yes, both riders must enter individually with the same Team Name and estimated time.

Equipment & Safety

Road bikes are preferable, however it is possible to take part on gravel, mountain, hybrid touring bikes and tandem bikes are also acceptable.

Please note that fixed wheel bikes are not permitted. Please refer to General Terms & Conditions for list of bikes that are not permitted.

An electric bike or Ebike is permitted, provided it is a UK road legal bike with maximum electro speed of 15.5 mph (25 kph) and rated power output of 250 watts or less.

A recumbent bicycle or trike is permitted however riders will be required to have a head height safety flag attached to the bicycle.

Bikes which are not of standard design must be approved by the organisers prior to the event. The organisers reserve the right to withdraw a participant from the event if their bike is considered, in the organiser’s opinion, to represent a danger to the cyclist or other participants. Please get in touch with any queries.

Standard handlebars only. No aero/tri bars, clip-ons or similar. MTB bar ends are allowed.

Yes, UK safety standard required.

No headphones of any kind. Stop safely if you need to use your phone.

On the Course

Yes, there are 4 stations with water, snacks, toilets, first aid and mechanics:

Mile 15: Drumnadrochit
Mile 27: Invermoriston
Mile 42: Whitebridge
Mile 54.5: Inverfarigaig–Dores

Yes, at Registration, the Start and all support stations. Riders should still carry basic repair kit.

To remain on closed roads, you must average 13mph, allowing 5h 38m from the last wave. After this, you may continue on open roads or use the sweep vehicle.
 

At mile 34 (Fort Augustus): a 4.8-mile climb (380m gain, up to 12%). Split times included.

Spectators & Travel

Best viewing is the final 2 miles and finish at Eden Court. Villages along the route are great for cheering - please note road closures.

Inverness is well connected by air, rail and road. See the Visit section.

Accommodation is widely available, just make sure to book early.

Photos available online post-event. Results are provisional at first, confirmed within 3–5 working days.

Not allowed on the route. Allowed in outdoor Event Hub areas only (assistance dogs permitted indoors).
